Killer T Cell (キラーT細胞 Kirā Tī Saibō?) is a main character in Cells at Work! Friend.
He is a white blood cell, specifically a Cytotoxic T Lymphocyte (Cytotoxic T Cell) within the Killer T Division. He is tasked to kill any foreign entities and cells that are damaged or infected.
Appearance[]
Killer T is a tall, masculine cell with blonde hair styled in an undercut and gold eyes, and a prominent cross shaped scar on his left cheek. He typically wears the standard Killer T uniform, but dresses casually on his off days.
Personality[]
Killer T cell is quick-tempered and impulsive with his words, often defaulting to berates and insults as a result of forcing himself to take on a "macho" persona as a young T cell. However, he is also immensely domestically inclined, and enjoys cleaning and cooking for himself, as well as other more "mundane" interests like romantic movies, video games and mobile games. He struggles with social connections due to his explosive personality, and is incredibly insecure about his apparent inability to make friends without appearing "weak", "unkempt" or "dainty".
History[]
Training and studying in the Thymus, he used to be incredibly asocial and would act like he was asleep before class started in order to avoid socializing with his classmates. Whenever another classmate would take his seat, he wouldn't have enough courage to ask for it back or ask them to move. He used join the tea ceremony club with his advisor.
He attended Thymus School alongside Regulatory T and Helper T when they were all immature thymocytes. Initially, he was scrawny and cowardly, being literally carried to the finish line by Helper T when he obstructed the narrow route during a run while cowering. Thankfully, Helper T does not seem to recognize him as the black-haired kid from then, as he has since dyed and kept his hair blonde. Regulatory T, however, is aware but chooses to keep the little secret for him.
Abilities[]
Killer T Cells are strong cells who play an important role; they kill cancers cells, infected cells as such.
- Overall Abilities: Like all killer T cells, he is tough and masculine. Possessing heightened strength, he can easily terminate threats with one strike and break walls of tissue.
- Martial Arts Proficiency: He can wield other weapons like a knife, but free hand is his preferred choice. His attacks are packed with a lot of strength, thus one punch can kill threats like influenza infected cells.
