Naive T Cell (ナイーブT細胞 Naību T saibō?), later Effector T Cell (エフェクターT細胞 Efekutā T saibō?) is a minor character in Cells at Work!. The older killer T cells often call him as Naive.

Appearance[]

As Naive T Cell, he has a blonde forelock of hair that's just barely visible under his hat, but he gets activated by dendritic cell, he becomes Effector T Cell which makes him grows significantly and sticks straight up. He wears a standard Naive T Cell Uniform.

Personality[]

As Naive, it is a meek, mild, moderately timid and easily scared cell.

As Effector, his newfound strength has given him self-confidence and an intrepid to face off against his foes.

Background[]

He is a white blood cell, specifically a Lympocyte, working under the Killer T division along with others of his kind. He is tasked to eliminate viruses when needed.

History[]

In episode 3, he can be seen patrolling in a dark place in the body with a flashlight, but suddenly he spots infected cells which leaves him terrified. But then U-1146 and Macrophage saved him. Soon the Killer T division arrives and blames him for being not able to fight before dragging him away. During the fight against the Type B influenza viruses, he still doesn't dare to fight, leaving his senpais to blame him, he then got very sad and ran away. But then Dendritic cell showed him photos of his senpais as Naives who were just like him. Seeing this, Naive becomes Effector T cell and successfully defeated the Type B influenza viruses.
