U-1110 also known as Teacher Neutrophil (好中球先生 Kōchūkyū Sensei?), is a minor character in Cells at Work!.

Appearance[]

He has extremely pale skin and hair like the other neutrophils. He wears the standard neutrophil uniform. When he is teaching the Erythroblasts, he takes off the uniform jacket and ties it around his waist. He has black eyes and appears to be bald.

Personality[]

Although U-1110 presents initially as kind and soft-spoken, when he gets into the role of being a “Bacteria”, he plays the role all too well. He is also not very good at responding to and calming distressed young cells, as seen by his slight confusion after AE3803 and U-1146 begin to cry once rescued.

Background[]

U-1110 is a Neutrophil working under the Neutrophil Division. His job includes eliminating pathogens that invade the body. In his appearance during a flashback, he acts as a teacher towards the Erythroblasts, acting as a bacterium to teach them to flee and hide from germs. He was also U-1146’s and Eosinophil’s teacher.[1]

History[]

U-1110 is seen helping Macrophage in a class teaching the Erythroblasts how to flee and hide from invading bacteria. He takes on the role of a bacteria, simulating a chase after the Erythroblasts with a Pseudomonas Aeruginosa puppet, acting perfectly like one from his experience with bacteria. Later, when AE3803 goes missing he finds her and U-1146 being bullied by a real Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. He immediately kills the bacterium and takes U-1146 back, parting U-1146 and AE3803.
